Creative Drive Podcast

I offer short readings of original poetry and flash fiction from all walks of life. Creative Drive is all about believing in our creative work and getting it out there! Don’t be idle, make art!

2021 UPDATE: Due to overwhelming number of submissions (thank you all, you’re amazing!), response times and production may take longer than expected. We’re working on it!

Currently focusing on:

  • Original Poetry: 3 poems please! (previously published okay here!)
  • Sudden Fiction or Flash Fiction, no longer than 2,500 words.
  • Dramatic Writing such as Monologues and 10 minute plays with small casts.
  • Original Songs! Send your recordings!
  • I am partial to immigrant stories and works from underrepresented communities. I’m here for you!
  • The stuff you believe in but couldn’t find a home. I’d love to take a look!
  • Racist works, senseless violence, NSFW content will not be tolerated.
  • I have tried reading erotic works in the past but I blush too much and giggle excessively, so I can’t help you there, sorry!

I’m just a working class guy recording this podcast in the middle of nowhere, so unfortunately, I won’t be able to compensate you. I can however, provide a high quality master of the reading at your request! This podcast is a labor of love and my long-term hope is that I can make it a safe place for collaboration and working class arts advocacy. I would love to hear from you!
